The peaceful and quaint town of Caputh is located south of Brandenburg’s capital, Potsdam (approx. 6 km) and about 25 km from the centre of Berlin. Both are easily reached via the nearby motorway connection. It is surrounded by 2 idyllically situated lakes – Lake Templin and Lake Schwielowsee, and is where Einstein spent most of summertime from 1929 to 1932.
